Primula Julia Polyanthus

The name is a latinization of Polyanthos, devived from the Greek, meaning many flowered, and in the early days, it was used only adjectivally to describe a particular kind of primrose.
It seems the polyanthus origianted from hybrids of P vulgaris and P veris.
